Apple watch Incompatible with Tattoos

Apple's "Revolutionary" Apple Watch seems to have a compatibility issue with certain colored tattoos that prevent the device's heart rate monitor from working. While this would seem to be a relatively mild problem in other devices, it actually causes the entire device to not function properly, as most of the device's programs will not function properly unless it is not properly reading one's heart rate. The reason for this issue seems to lie in individuals with black tattoos, as the opaque ink prevents the infrared light from permeating your skin and reflecting off one's blood vessels to check the timing of your heartbeat, which despite being the weirdest thing I've read all day, seems to allow the device to determine if it is hooked up and ready to use. Fortunately, this issue does not extend to those with darker skin pigmentation or scars, since the skin is still translucent there. Unfortunately for those this artificial limbs, the apple watch will indefinitely not work at full capacity. While this seems like a rather strange issue, I wonder if using the device on the other arm, if not tattooed is possible,  as that would be a much easier and cheaper option than tattoo removal.

Google Fiber Comes to Salt Lake City

Google has anoucced that the next city to recieve its revolutionary internet service is salt lake city, as it joins cities like Atlanta and Austin as it recieves the fastest availibe speeds currently availible to the general public. Officials in Salt Lake anticipate that their city will expereince an increase in tech start ups, as well as more economic growth once Google Fiber is formally introduced. Google Fiber typically costs about 70 dollars a month to use, but is available for free if one is willing to pay for the construction costs. Personally I feel if Google brought Google Fiber to my area, I would make the change to it in a heartbeat.

Microsoft Announces new Surface 3 tablet

Microsoft has revealed their newest in the line of their Surface tablets yesterday, as the new Surface 3 tablet has been announced with a release date of May 7th. Microsoft's Surface tablets seem to be more rooted in the idea that tablet computers could replace PCs and Laptops, as it's OS, Windows 8, is the same OS that one could find on their computer, which gives it a slight advantage when compared to other Tablets, as it can run most programs that are used in most settings. However, this comes as a disadvantage as well, since the Surface tablets only contain about 64 GB of memory, and mostly integrated sound and graphics, which means that the Surface will be unable to run graphically intesive programs.
